CODE OF CONDUCT

Yellowhat is a community event for defenders, builders, and the curious. Treat everyone with respect, regardless of their identity, background, or choices.

Be excellent.

• No harassment, threats, or hostility — verbal, physical, or digital.
• No personal attacks, slurs, or discriminatory language.
• No unwanted photography of people who’ve asked not to be photographed.
• No sales pitches at strangers. Sponsors stick to their booth.

Reporting

If you experience or witness a violation, find any of the organizers — yellow lanyards, hard hats, the crew shirts. We’ll listen. We’ll act.

Consequences

Violations will result in removal from the event without further notice and without refund. We may also report behaviour to law enforcement when warranted.
